More Game & Watch goodness.

In a gesture that speaks volumes about inherent family geekiness, my Mum bought me an early Christmas present today in the form of a Nintendo Octopus Game & Watch.  One of the most popular of the single screen Game & Watch handhelds, Octopus was released in 1981 and pits the player against the flailing tentacles of said sea creature as they attempt to steal treasure back to their boat.

The unit is in great condition with a dark LCD, original battery cover and – like all single screen Game & Watches – a small metal stand that can be swiveled out to put the unit on show like a photo frame.

Awesome stuff, awesome gift, deceptively difficult game – thanks Mum!

    Hi Michelle,

They are not sold in stores anymore, the only place to find them would be auction web sites like eBay or Gumtree, garage sales (trash & treasure markets), antique stores, and from private collectors. Hope that helps 🙂

    Cheers,
    James
